The 2025 Audubon Program Year will start on Wednesday, September 17th and we have a great lineup of speakers for the fall programs.
For our September meeting, Jayme Strange with the American Bird Conservancy will be giving a presentation entitled "Forestry for Birds". She will discuss the work that her group does in the boreal forest region of the upper midwest.
Our October meeting will feature Stefan Gleissberg, Ph.D who will be presenting a summary of this summer’s Chimney Swift Roost Count in La Crosse (that several CRAS members participated in), and also world wide information about swifts.
For our November meeting, Dan Jackson will speak about Bumble Bees and pollinators.
We hope that you will join us for these and the other programs of the 2025-2026 program year. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month from September through June (except December). We meet at 7:00 PM in the Discovery Room of the Nature Place. All meetings are free and open to the public.
